In short: the extension does not collect, store, or transmit your data to us. We run no servers and no analytics. The only information that leaves your browser is the single URL you explicitly choose to shorten, which is sent to the shortening service you selected so it can create the short link.
The extension acts only when you tell it to — when you click the toolbar button, choose a menu item, or shorten a link you have copied.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else — there is nothing for us to sell, because your data never reaches us.
Shortening is performed by the service you select. Their handling of the URL and request metadata is governed by their own privacy policies:
The extension requests only the permissions needed to read the current page's URL when you act, contact the shortening service, and copy the result to your clipboard. A plain-language explanation of every permission is on the extension pages for Chrome and Firefox.
The extension is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children, nor does it knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
